Camera Shots - Feminine or Masculine?

This image is masculine. The composition in the photo, gives us the impression that the man has all the power, the man takes up most of the room in the camera, he is taller, bolder and has most of the focus. The women is shown as a much smaller person, she looks worried worried and venerable. The lighting in the background makes you look to the the men in the background, they are  holding guns and covered by masks, this gives off a very manly feel and makes the whole image feel violent.

Although this shot is of a women we felt that it was avery masculine shot. The focus is all on the women, she looks dominate and important, these are the characteristics of a very masculine male. As the women is in the foreground of the photo and the men are tucked away in the background staring at her it makes the audience look at the women in a more powerful way.  

This is a very feminine shot, as it is an extreme close up you can see the emotion in the characters., as emotions is a very feminine thing the audience automatically look to the female. This photo also reveals that it is a love scene which also shows the feminine side however a the male is leaning over her, he would been scene as a dominate male which would make the shot more masculine. 

This would be a masculine shot, it is a low angle which shows authority and power, the fact the girl is holding a gun would also portray the masculine side to her. 

Although the man is holding a gun, the shot is making him look feminine. The high angle makes him look scared, vulnerable and weak, the emotion on his face also shows that this is a more feminine shot as he is showing that he is feeling scared, worried and frightened. 

This shot would be a feminine shot as it is showing all of the different stereotypes of women, she is showing her self off and looking for attention. The idea that all women should be sex objets and look 'attrative' is what this particular shot shows.

This particular shot is masculine. All the people in the shot look very powerful, they all look like they are ready for battle, fighting and violence is a very masculine thing. The focus is all on the front male giving him a very powerful feel, making him the leader and Alfa male.

This shot is a feminine shot as the lighting is very soft, this make the background of the photo out of focus which makes the image look delicate and these make the photo have a feminine feel.

The lighting in the photo makes the photo seem very masculine, the harsh lighting draws your attention to his face which then shows you that he is thinking. The man look serious and like he is important which are all masculine traits.

This video shows a very masculine shot as the movement is not smooth and clear it is shaky and in a way that looks like it is following the characters. 

This video shows femininity this is because the man looks dominate over the women but it looks like  love scene.
